Welcome to Western Suburbs Little Athletics
Track and field events are held for boys and girls from under 6's to under 17's. No previous experience with athletics is needed. Younger children, i.e. "Tiny Tots" can participate in play training activities only, which are conducted on a "one to one" basis by their parents. We recommend a minimum age of 4 years for Tiny Tots.
2011/2012 SEASON
High Jump and throws coaching cancelled Thursday 2 February at Sydney Athletic Centre Homebush (warm-up track).
Competition on Friday 3 February cancelled due to ground closure.
All training sessions arranged by the club this season will be free. Only cost will be gate entry of $3.00 per child at Sydney Athletic Centre.
High Jump training will commence Thursday November3 - 6-7.30pm - Sydney Athletic Centre. Cost is $3.00 to enter the venue. Please e-mail James at jvjeffery@gmail.com to express interest in this session.
Sprinting - Wednesday's - 6pm, location St Lukes oval.
High Jump - Thursday's - 6pm, location Sydney Athletic Centre Homebush. Meet coach at High Jump area.

Coaches:
Head coach for the 2011-12 season will be triple Olympian and World Championship Bronze medalist Andrew Murphy. Andrew will be assisted by Bronwyn Poole.
Registration
The preferred method of registration for the season is on-line using the attached link. Re-registering athletes should have received an e-mail from the NSW Little Athletics association providing password details.

Once you have registered please attend our registration night which will be held Friday September 2 from 6-8.30pm at the Athletes Foot store, Ground level Burwood Westfield. Please bring a copy of the receipt which the on-line system produces. On the night you will receive more details about our season and your childrens registration numbers.
New Members to our club
Please follow the above instruction and in addittion please bring along to our registration night a copy of your childrens birth certificate or passport.
Key Friday Night Assistants (100% reimbursement of all registration fees)
Families that commit to a role on our Friday night competition and fulfill their duty all year will have all registration paid refunded. Key Friday night positions include, BBQ management, Age Group Manager, Starters, Timekeepers and data input.
